Yes, you can order just one. RookieSzn has no minimum order: one printed trading card of one athlete, made from a photo on your phone, is $24.99 plus $6.95 shipping. The HD file of the card is included, so you can send it to family while the printed card is on its way.
You see the finished card, front and back, before you pay. The preview is free and you do not need an account to try it. If you do not like it, close the tab and you owe nothing.
We ship printed cards to US addresses only, and we don’t guarantee a delivery date.
Why printers keep telling you 25
If you searched for a single custom trading card and landed on a commercial printer, you probably met a quantity menu that starts at 25. That is normal for that kind of shop. They print cards in batches for brands, game makers and teams, and they expect you to bring finished artwork or build it yourself in their design tool.
Photo labs are different: they sell trader cards in packs of a dozen from their own templates. The table below shows what each one listed when we checked, with links to their pages.
Those are fair prices, and per card they are far lower than ours. They are simply the wrong shape if you want one card of one kid and all you have is a photo.

When the 25-pack or the 12-pack is the better buy
- You already have print-ready artwork, or you like designing it yourself. A commercial printer will sell you 25 cards for about what one of ours costs, before shipping on either side.
- You want a stack of identical cards for a kid to trade with teammates. A bulk order or a lab pack costs far less per card.
- You want the lowest price per card and do not need the background removed or the card laid out for you.

What is not included
- No physical foil. The shine is printed foil-style artwork, not physical foil or holographic material.
- No stats table on the back. The back carries their name, number, team and season and one line you write.
- No team or roster ordering today. Every card is ordered on its own.
- No serial number. RookieSzn cards are not numbered, so we do not call them one-of-ones.
- No shipping outside the US.
Returns and reprints: cancel for a full refund before printing starts; personalized cards cannot be returned, and we reprint or refund print defects. The full policy is on our shipping and returns page.
How ordering one card works
- Upload one photo. A clear shot of one athlete works best. JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 15 MB are accepted; if your iPhone saved a HEIC file, export it as a JPG first.
- Make it theirs. The background is removed automatically, and you can switch to “Keep original background” if you prefer the photo as shot. Choose from Powder Burst, Storm, Supernova, Voltage, Aftershock and Prism, then type their name, number, team and season. The back carries their name, number, team and season, plus one line you write, up to 80 characters. There is no stats table.
- Check both sides, then decide. Order the printed card for $24.99, add copies at $7.50 each, or take just the HD file for $9.99.

Copies are the same design. A card of a different athlete, or with a different photo, is its own order. If you need 25 identical cards to hand out, the options in the table above cost much less per card.

We print and inspect every order by hand after payment is confirmed, and we ship to US addresses only. We don’t guarantee a delivery date; if your order will take longer than expected we email you, and your order page shows tracking once it ships. If the date matters, the HD file is the part you can have right away.
